The German engineered AMT Gastroguss cookware, dubbed “The World’s Best Pan” is celebrating its official launch in South Africa. This range of cookware is used and loved by Neill Anthony, star of the new SABC 3 hit cooking show, ‘Neill Anthony-Private Chef’.
A few weeks ago we were treated to a delicious lunch prepared by Neill himself at Banks Kitchen Boutique. Neill made a Sesame Seed Chicken Dish, Creamy Cauliflower Risotto with a Parmesan & truffle oil and ended off tasty Seared Tuna and avocado dish. All dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection with the help of AMT Gastroguss cookware.
The AMT Gastroguss cookware range was developed in close association with the German National Culinary Team resulting in innovative, functional items. The heat-resistant handles (up to 240 °C) allow for gratinating in the oven directly after frying on the hob without the need to switch cookware and the Aluminium structure guarantees a quick heat transition into the pan and an excellent and uniform heat distribution on the surface, allowing for even cooking throughout as a result of its efficient heat distribution and retention.

The 13-part series which premiered on the 15 March 2015, provides a glimpse into the world of exclusive catering for socialites. The series promises to take viewers on a colourful journey through the bustling streets of Cape Town and surrounds as Neill shares tips and cooking secrets. Each 26-minute episode begins in Neill’s loft apartment in the heart of Cape Town before he heads out to source the freshest local ingredients for that night’s event.
